About Your Doctor
Dr. Cecil Sharp
With many years of newborn experience, Dr. Sharp has been at University Hospital -Piedmont Augusta for 34 years. He is a member of Pediatrix Medical Group of Augusta. His partners include John Bartley MD, Vince Brawley MD, Anjali Parish MD, and Lynda Adrouche=Amrani MD. He is board certified in Neonatology/Perinatology and General Pediatrics. He was selected a Top Neonatologist in 2021 and Top Georgia Doctor in 2023. His faith in Jesus Christ is his foundation. If requested, he is available for prayer.

After giving birth, your baby will be evaluated by a specially trained resource nurse. Thereafter, you and your baby will be cared for by postpartum and nursery nurses.
